The “triquetra” or Trinity Knot is the most popular and well known of all Celtic knots. It is found on Celtic crosses and decorates our illuminated manuscripts like the Book of Kells.
For the Celts it was a symbol of all things threefold: beginning, middle, end; earth, sea, sky; mind, body spirit but it was adopted by Christian religions to signify “The Trinity”, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Trinity Knot is simple, geometric and never-ending and this contemporary ring bring this Celtic knot right up to date.
Width: 5.5 – 5.6mm top of ring / 5.3 – 5.4 mm back of band approx.
